Comedic tale of a non-conformist black girl in rural Maryland who almost “gives up on black people”, discovers the Official Preppy Handbook, and flees to boarding school with dreams of being upper class and Jesus-free in Connecticut.

The show debuted in the first Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2010 was nominated for "Best Comedy" and returned for a second run in 2011. The show was also a part of 2011 United Solo Festival.
